Our next public gig will be at the Cheshire Cheese in Hope on Thursday 5th March.
If you don’t know the Cheshire Cheese Inn, it’s a great little traditional pub, very popular with walkers. On the 1st Thursday of each month they feature different local musicians. On the 3rd Thursday, Mike Richards and his Dogwood Rose chums run a less formal monthly folk music session which is a great opportunity for musicians to get together.
The Cheshire Cheese serves good pub food so you could come early and have a meal. We’ll be starting around 9pm.
And if you don’t wish to drive, there’s a train back to Sheffield from Hope at 23:07. It’s about 15 minutes walk (or 5 minutes by bike) to the station but carry a torch and wear something visible as part of the way is on an unlit road.
