The Old Poet’s Corner in Ashover was recently CAMRA’s pub of the year, it’s a very friendly place and last time we were there there seemed to be a large number of charming dogs in, along with their people.
On Tuesdays there is an excellent Acoustic night, hosted by Andy Flint, and on Sundays Shaun Byrne runs a gig where he performs along with a couple of invited guests.
So on Sunday 22nd March Shaun has invited us together with Charlotte Pynegar. And as it’s Monday the next day, he starts at 8 and finishes at 10pm. If that wasn’t enough there’s food if you fancy a decent pub meal.
