We seem to be having a bit of a rest from our busy schedule but we’ll be back performing in March, starting with a return to the Cheshire Cheese in Hope. A really relaxed place with a friendly atmosphere so we’ll be looking forward to it. Hope to see some old friends there.

January has been good. We loaded up the mighty tour bus, paid the road crew their back wages and headed off for an epic two day tour across the heart of ‘proper’ South Yorkshire. On Friday 8th we were at the Roots Music Club in Doncaster supporting Rod Clements of Lindisfarne and on Saturday 9th we topped the bill at Raising the Rafters Folk Club in Wath-upon-Dearne.
Very different venues but we enjoyed both and met some good people, including James Haigh, an impressive young performer who has yet to take his GCSEs. We’ve invited him to come to Sheffield to play at the Nether Edge Folk Club in May.
Meanwhile we are working on some new songs and thinking about new places to sing in the spring. We might even start something more regular in Sheffield so watch this space.
