Nether Edge Bowling Club, Sheffield
Thursday 20 Oct 2022 | 8pm

Bone Cupboard is not your usual folk trio. Charlie Osguthorpe is an irreverent songwriter with an amazing voice, more gravel than a highways department dump truck. He is joined by two great musicians, Dave Markham and Kathy Cookson to produce an infectious mix of songs that will keep you wide awake throughout their set.
As usual there will be a second guest performer so watch this space.

Tickets are £4 in advance (£5 on the night if we don’t sell out, usually we do) and we will also be doing fundraising activities on the night so bring cash and a generous heart. If you are unable to come but would like to send us a donation for this month’s charity partner, here’s a link.

This month we are raising funds for a campaign to rescue the Rose Garden Cafe. The Friends of Graves Park are aiming to get this very popular community resource re-opened after neglect by Sheffield City Council had allowed the building to become dangerous, costing ten people’s jobs.
And of of course your resident orchestra, Break a Leg! will be starting each half of the evening. Is it Folk Music? Is it Jazz? Are they Sheffield’s smallest Swing Band? Who knows? Who cares?
