Poor Dale Butler has been trying to get us to play at the Old Hall for over a year but other things keep getting in the way. But he has stuck with us and finally we’ll be playing in Hope on Wednesday 13th March.
Thanks Dale, we are looking forward to it. If you missed us in February at the Gardeners Arms (it was brilliant) maybe you can get along to Hope. No need to drive, the last train back to Sheffield from Hope runs at 23:07.
The Gardeners Rest is a great community pub which supports performers and artists. We are really looking forward to it. Free admission.
Karen’s saxophone is becoming a big part of our music, and we seem to be getting more like the smallest, most eclectic swing band every week. We still enjoy ringing the changes but things are becoming more lively.
Oxjam is a fundraising Saturday event in Sheffield City Centre with four stages at venues plus an evening party and it’s only about a fiver for the whole thing. Get tickets online
We are playing at the Acoustic Stage at the Frog and Parrot at 2pm. Lots of other music going on into the early evening.
Our friends, Ar Faoued, run a monthly Folk Cub at Brampton Manor in the outskirts of Chesterfield and we are playing there this Monday, 10th September.
It’s an early start and finish for those who have to go to work on Tuesday so it starts at 7:30pm, we will be performing some time after 8pm. Hope to see some North Derbyshire friends there

We are back at one of our favourite places next week so maybe we’ll see you at the Cheshire Cheese, in Hope, Derbyshire. Old songs and quite a few new ones including a saxophone set that we are really enjoying.
We’ve been very slack about updating our video but here we are playing Four Dancers at Crookes Folk Club in their Tramlines Sidings event in July. Thanks to Harvey for capturing it for slightly fuzzy posterity.
It’s probably the darkest song we do but we have some musical fun along the way.
We’ve been rather quiet recently with other things taking up our time but Break a Leg! are back on the road, maybe to somewhere near you?
As well as dates in Derbyshire and Sheffield we are off to the West Country in June in response to a tumult of requests from our fan (thanks Harvey) so that will be fun.
